Hamdi El Sayed

Mr. Hamdi Al Sayed enjoys over 30 years of financial expertise and is the Executive Partner of Developers Training and Consulting Company.

Al Sayed headed the Finance department of Al Ahli Capital Holding for ten years, the investment arm of the National Bank of Egypt, with a portfolio surpassing EGP 10 billion.  

He headed the internal audit & compliance department in the Gulf Investment Corporation, the Investment arm of the Gulf Cooperation Council and served as the Secretary General of the Audit Committee.  

Al Sayed worked for Ernst & Young International in the field of consulting and auditing for 17 years, during which he contributed to the development of the accounting standards for Islamic banks with Awafi Foundation in Bahrain.  He contributed to the study of asset protection for El Riyad Bank and supervised the auditing process of Al Rajhi Bank, the largest Islamic bank in the world.

He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Glaxo Pharmaceuticals, overseeing the establishment of the risk management department and implementing a restructuring of the financial sector for the company's Kenya branch. 

Mr. Hamdi Al Sayed is a Certified Chartered Accountant from Illinois, USA and holds an MBA from the University of Wales, UK.  He also holds a fellowship of the Association of Chartered Accountants, USA, a fellowship of Corporate Evaluators, USA, a fellowship of Internal Auditors, USA and a fellowship of Financial Advisors from Canada.
