Ezz Kamel

Mr. Ezz Kamel brings over 23 years of experience in capital markets & held several leadership positions in Investment and Asset Management companies managing an aggregate of EGP 5 billion in assets. 

He was the head of the asset management division at Al Naeem Financial investments where he oversaw the acquisition of Al-Tawfeek Financial investments by Al-Naeem Financial Holding, restructuring business operations and work flow and leading it to third rank among Shariah compliant Funds in 2017.

Mr. Kamel served as Managing Director of Al-Tawfeek Financial Investments (part of Dallah Al Baraka Group) where he established the Trading Department, implemented innovative ideas to enhance and develop its operations, acquiring investment opportunities for multiple portfolios and fund management by the company and increasing the company’s managed assets. 

He also held various positions in Brokerage and Asset Management firms in Egypt and the Arabian Gulf, including the Strategic Securities Group, First Gulf Bank in Abu Dhabi, and Amwal Investments, where he established securities trading departments and managed High Net Worth client portfolios. 

Mr. Kamel holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Faculty of Commerce, Alexandria University and is an ‘Executive Professional Master in Islamic Finance’ from the General Council of Banks and Financial Institutions in Bahrain (GIBAFI), a ‘Certified Corporate Governance Professional’ from the Egyptian Institute of Directors (EIOD) and ‘Certification in Executive Management’ from the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA). 

Currently he is a board member in Arabia Investments Holding (AIH) and is the Managing Director of JAF Investments company.
