Gamal Moharam
Mr. Mohamad Gamal Moharam is the Chairman of MGM Banking & Financial Consultants and the Chairman of ServFund an MGM affiliate which is the largest fund Administration Company in Egypt, with EGP 9 billion Assets Under Administration.
He focused his career on the banking industry, from credit and marketing officer at Citibank, to assistant vice president of Fleet National Bank and chief representative of the Bank of New York in Cairo. He was the CEO and managing director of Piraeus Bank Egypt (formerly Egyptian Commercial Bank) from 2002 to 2008.
He is currently the Vice- Chairman of AIH, the non-executive Chairman of the Alexandria International Container Terminals company, Board member in the Eastern Tobacco Company and the Smart Village company.
He is a member of various business chambers and federations and board officer of a number of prominent socially responsible institutes.
Mr. Moharam was the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt from 2009-2013, a board member of the Federation of Egyptian Banks (2005-08), the Cairo & Alexandria Stock Exchanges (2008) now known as the EGX, the Sixth of October University (2005 to date) and Rasmala Investment Company (2008 to 2009).
Mr. Moharam has also served as treasurer of the prestigious Gezira Club (2006 to 2010), executive vice president of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (2003-07), and founder and treasurer of the organization “People & Police for Egypt” (2007 to date).
